- Collagen – Peptides are made up of a series of amino acids. They stimulate the production of collagen, which is a protein that’s responsible for the skin’s elasticity. Collagen also helps smooth out wrinkles and lines. A study in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences showed that oral injection of collagen can smooth out wrinkles.
- Hyaluronic Acid – This is a humectant, meaning it draws a lot of moisture. This makes it both an excellent moisturizer and a great anti-aging agent. It plumps up the skin, smoothing out wrinkles and fine lines. A review in Dermato Endocrinology showed that this is a key molecule in skin aging.
